These terms govern your use of The Almanac (almanac.tradenest.in) — our question bank, chapter notes, cram sheets, mock exams, and related study material for insurance licentiate, associateship, fellowship, and surveyor exams. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these terms.
The Almanac is operated by Sahil Arora HUF ("we", "us", "our", the "Platform Owner"), registered address H.No. 352, Ward No. 1, Gandhi Nagar Dhani, Narwana, District Jind, Haryana - 126116, India.
1. Accounts
One account per person. Your login is yours alone — don't share your username or password with anyone else, and don't use an account that isn't your own. We may require you to verify your identity if we suspect an account is shared or compromised.
2. Fair and judicious use
The Almanac is built for one purpose: helping you personally prepare for your exam by reading, practising, and reviewing the material through the platform itself. That purpose sets the boundary on what "fair use" means here. In particular, you agree not to:
- Systematically screenshot, scrape, bulk-download, or otherwise extract the question bank, chapter notes, cram sheets, or explanations with the intent of building your own copy of the content;
- Redistribute, resell, publish, or share any Almanac content — in full or in part — outside the platform, including in other study groups, channels, or paid/free bundles;
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, download, or interact with the platform;
- Share your paid access or account credentials with anyone who has not themselves subscribed.
Using the platform normally — attempting mocks, reviewing your own results, reading notes, retaking quizzes as many times as you like — is always fine and is exactly what it's built for. The line is systematic extraction or redistribution, not normal study.
3. Content ownership
Every question, explanation, chapter note, and cram sheet on The Almanac is original work created for this platform and remains our property. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own exam preparation — it does not give you any right to copy, republish, or redistribute it.
4. Suspension and termination
We may warn, suspend, or disable an account we reasonably believe has breached these terms — most commonly for the kind of extraction or redistribution described in Section 2. Where we can, we'll warn first. Where an account has already been warned, or the breach is clear-cut (e.g. a large, deliberate download of content), we may disable it without further warning. Disabling an account for breach of these terms does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of a paid plan.
5. Payments
Plan prices, durations, and what each plan includes are shown to you at the time of purchase. All payments are final and non-refundable, including if you decide not to continue using the platform partway through a paid period. Access is granted for the duration you paid for, subject to these terms remaining unbreached throughout that period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for the limited exceptions we do make.
6. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the platform grows. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
