This Privacy Policy describes how Sahil Arora HUF ("we", "us", "our"), registered address H.No. 352, Ward No. 1, Gandhi Nagar Dhani, Narwana, District Jind, Haryana - 126116, India, collects, uses, and protects your personal data through The Almanac (almanac.tradenest.in). We don't offer any product or service outside India, and your data is stored and processed in India. By using the platform, you agree to this Policy alongside our Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

1. What we collect

When you create an account: your name, a username or email address, and a phone number. Optionally, a Telegram username if you want updates there. If you subscribe to a paid plan, the payment screenshot you upload as proof of a UPI payment you made directly to us — we don't collect or store your card, bank, or UPI credentials ourselves; payment happens in your own banking/UPI app, and the screenshot is only used to manually verify and approve your purchase. We also keep a record of your study activity on the platform (mock attempts, marks, progress) so the product can function — streaks, review scheduling, your results history, and similar features.

2. How we use it

To create and run your account, verify and approve payments, grant the access you've paid for, and contact you about your account or a pending purchase (by WhatsApp, Telegram, or the in-app chat, depending on what you've provided). We don't use your data for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

3. Sharing

We don't share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing. Your payment screenshot and account details are reviewed internally (by us) to verify and approve a purchase. We may disclose information if required by law, or in the good faith belief that doing so is necessary to comply with a legal process, prevent fraud, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the platform.

4. Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt) — we never store or can see your plain-text password. The platform is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and you're responsible for keeping your own login credentials confidential.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to resolve a pending payment/dispute. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by messaging @sahilarora946 on Telegram or through the chat widget on the site — we'll action it once any pending purchase approval or grievance is resolved.

6. Your rights

You can access and update most of your account details directly from the platform. For anything else — correcting, exporting, or deleting your data — contact us using the details below.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform changes. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated Policy.
